About Us

"The most effective way to address domestic and family violence is by confronting the multi-faceted challenges faced not only by victims, but also by society as a whole. This includes providing support for those who perpetrate violence, while ensuring victims have access to coordinated, wraparound care.

DVFS envisions a ‘one-stop hub’ model — a centralised framework offering streamlined access to mental health care, legal aid, security and safety planning, emergency relocation, child protection liaison, housing support, and financial recovery.

Our approach doesn’t stop at crisis intervention — it focuses on rebuilding lives. Victim-survivors are supported through trauma recovery and parenting support programs like Empowerment Hour, with pathways into meaningful employment as they feel ready. Meanwhile, those who complete perpetrator rehabilitation programs are also given structured opportunities to reintegrate through monitored employment streams.

Children receive tailored, trauma-informed care beyond standard schooling or childcare — because their safety, regulation, and development are foundational to long-term change.

DVFS is about safety, accountability, and sustainable transformation — for individuals, families, and the systems that serve them."
